Jeffreys Henry LLP, one of the UK’s leading providers of audit, tax and advisory services to AIM listed companies, is acting as Reporting Accountants to Domaine Chanzy on one of the world’s first crowdfunded AIM IPO’s.
The Burgundy-based vineyard seeks to raise at least £1.9 million at a share price of 120p, valuing the company at £9.66 million. The money raised will be used to increase distribution networks and create a new range of wine designed specifically for overseas sales.
Investors large and small will be able to invest from as little as £10 on equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs. Shares will be eligible for Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) relief, the government backed scheme which helps smaller, higher-risk companies to raise finance by offering a range of tax relief to investors.
Domaine Chanzy will also be raising funds through a placing led by several City corporate finance firms.
Not only is this one of the first instance of a company conducting an IPO using crowdfunding, but will also be the only French company listed on AIM.
Nick Michaels, Partner at Jeffreys Henry LLP commented: “We are delighted to be working with Domaine Chanzy on this innovative approach to an AIM IPO”.
With 23 AIM-listed companies, Jeffreys Henry LLP is ranked the 11th largest AIM auditor by ‘Total AIM Clients’ in the latest ‘Corporate Advisers Rankings Guide’.
Seedrs is an equity crowdfunding platform for investing in start-up’s and later-stage businesses throughout Europe.
