Deliveroo, the on-demand delivery service for quality restaurant food, has launched RooBox, a delivery kitchen to help restaurants expand into new territories.
RooBox provides partner restaurants with the use of a fully-equipped kitchen in areas with limited restaurant supply but high demand for delivery.
Expanding a restaurant concept comes at a significant risk and substation cost to the owner. RooBox releases restaurant owners from this, enabling them to test locations at low-risk whilst growing their customer base and revenue in a new area.
RooBox has initially launched in select locations across London. Restaurants on the Deliveroo platform such as Tommi’s Burger Joint are already taking part.
Valgard Sorensen, owner of Tommi’s Burger Joint and a restaurant client of Jeffreys Henry LLP, which uses the service, was quoted recently in the Guardian: “It offers our business a fantastic opportunity to promote itself in areas beyond our normal reach. It’s enabled us to test a local market and make informed business decisions.”
