JH APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMMES
We offer 3 apprenticeships programmes:
Recently, candidates have been given the opportunity to complete an ATT + CTA HYBRID, this allows capable candidates to complete both accreditations together over 2 years.
CHOSING THE RIGHT PROGRAMME
Different programmes will be right for different individuals depending on what you would like to do.
If you would like to pursue a career in Tax, the ATT followed by the CTA (if ATT is successfully completed) would be the recommended path. An ATT+CTA HYBRID is also available, however, we would need to assess a candidates capabilities.
If you would like to purse a career in Accounting, the AAT followed by the ACA (if AAT is successfully completed) would be the recommended path.
In order to apply for an apprenticeship at Jeffreys Henry LLP, candidates must:
Have completed their A-Levels or equivalent
Have a minimum Grade C in GCSE Maths and English
Have an interest in working at an accountancy firm

A PRACTICAL EXERCISE
Jeffreys Henry Training Partner, Sudhir Rawal, presented newly qualified ACA Charlie Robbens with his Apprenticeship Completion Certificate. Charlie is the first person at Jeffreys Henry to have qualified as a Chartered Accountant using the Level 7 Accountancy Professional Apprenticeship.
The Apprenticeship has proved to be the perfect opportunity to offer the ACA on a government-funded programme for accounting firms, leading Jeffreys Henry to train more students than ever before. There are many benefits for the trainee as well; it is mandatory that they complete 20% off-the-job training, which has allowed Jeffreys Henry to open up a number of training opportunities to our students in areas such as soft skills.
The Apprenticeship Scheme has become a popular option for the majority of our trainees completing accounting and taxation qualifications.
Rawal further commented: “We feel that at Jeffreys Henry we provide an excellent training experience for our students. Our record-breaking exam results in 2019 are a testament to this and the apprenticeship scheme has allowed us to further cement this. We want our students to progress through our programme with well-rounded skills which will assist them in their careers.”
