Patent Box - A Seminar for TechCityUK based Start-Ups
The UK Patent Box will come into force on 1 April 2013 and provides companies with the opportunity to apply a 10% rate of corporation tax to worldwide profits attributed to patents and certain other forms of intellectual property (IP). Combined with Research and Development (R&D) tax relief, there may be an opportunity for a significant reduction in corporation tax.
Aimed at Silicon Roundabout/TechCityUK based start-ups, this seminar hosted by Manches LLP and Jeffreys Henry LLP, will discuss the Patent Box, what is patented technology, maximising the tax benefits and how to avoid potential pitfalls.
