Accountants Since 1880

The firms history can be traced back to 1880, when the firm's founder, Alfred Henry, was one of those co-opted to membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants when it was founded in 1880.

In 1927 the practice, which was then styled Alfred Henry Marks, merged with Sidney Jeffreys Hogg & Co, to become Jeffreys Alfred Henry & Marks.

In 1967 the firm merged with H.C. Rudolf & Co, and was thereafter styled Jeffreys Henry Rudolf & Marks until the name was shortened in November 1990 to what is now Jeffreys Henry.

In 2017, Jeffreys Henry LLP was awarded the most hotly-contested trophy in the accountancy profession - Mid-Tier Firm of the Year 2016 - by the British Accountancy Awards.
